BARDIANI CSF. Si debutta in Dubai
PROFESSIONISTI | Il tanto atteso esordio stagionale per il Bardiani – CSF Pro Team è finalmente arrivato. Infatti la squadra italiana, Mercoledi 4 Febbraio sarà al via del prestigioso Dubai Tour, gara a tappe di quattro giorni che si svolge dentro ed intorno la città di Dubai. Un evento di grande importanza internazionale nel quale il #Greenteam sarà guidato da Nicola Ruffoni per gli arrivi in volata e Enrico Battaglin nella tappa di Hatta che presenta il traguardo in cima ad un breve strappo. Presenti anche tre nuovi innesti di questi stagione: Paolo Simion e i fratelli Luca e Simone Sterbini.

Roberto Reverberi, Team Manager: ”La prima corsa di una nuova stagione è sempre un’incognita, pur essendoci allenati bene non sai mai com’è il tuo livello rispetto agli altri. Quello che è certo è che a Dubai troveremo una concorrenza da evento World Tour, ma dentro di noi c’è la fiducia di poter fare subito bene. Abbiamo infatti Ruffoni che riparte dai duelli con Cavendish e Kittel al Tour of Britain del 2014, Battaglin che ha già giorni di corsa nelle gambe grazie al Tour de San Luis con la Nazionale e poi ci sono un gruppo di ragazzi che sicuramente animeranno la gara, come Boem, Pirazzi e i fratelli Sterbini. Piechele e Simion invece proveranno ad aiutare proprio Ruffoni in volata”.
Nicola Ruffoni: ”L’inverno è trascorso bene e mi sono allenato con meticolosità perché per un velocista gare come Dubai e poi Tour of Qatar, sono già appuntamenti molto importanti. Sono stimolato e non vedo l’ora di poter confrontarmi con i migliori sprinter al mondo e cercare di inserirmi tra loro per ottenere i primi positivi risultati di un 2015 dal quale mi attendo molto”.
ANALISI CORSA
Passato nel 2015 da categoria 2.1 a 2.HC, il Dubai Tour si sviluppa in quattro tappe in linea tutte dentro e nell’area limitrofa dell’imponente città di Dubai.
Le prime due frazioni sono adatte ai velocisti presenti, mentre la 3° con arrivo a Hatta dopo 205km, presente un finale interessante con un muro di 200 metri al 17%. Tappa conclusiva invece di nuovo per le ruote veloci e che si concluderà sotto Burj Khalifa, il grattacielo più alto del mondo (828 metri).

The long-awaited season debut has finally arrived for Bardiani – CSF Pro Team. The young italian squad from Wednesday 4th will take part to the prestigious Dubai Tour, stage race into and around the big city of Dubai.
A world class event where #Greenteam aim to highlight with sprinter Nicola Ruffoni and the puncheur Enrico Battaglin who in Stage 3 will find the uphill finish of Hatta.
At the start also three new adds of this year: Paolo Simion and brothers Luca and Simone Sterbini.

While what is sure that we go to Dubai and face some of the strongest world teams, but we’re confidence that we can make a really good race. There’s Ruffoni that showed in the final part of 2014 that can be competitive against sprinters like Cavendish and Kittel and Battaglin who come after a positive week in Argentine at Tour de San Luis with Italian National Team. Nicola Ruffoni:”Winter has gone well and my training schedule too. Dubai and following Tour of Qatar are race so important for a sprinters, because you have several good arrivals. I’m exicted to start my season here and I’m looking forward to compete against the fastest riders of the world. I want to enter in this top club and get my first positive results of the new season”.
RACE PROFILE
Moved in 2015 from 2.1 to 2.HC category, Dubai Tour presents four road stages all into and around the big city of Dubai.
The first two are completely flat and good for a bunch sprint. While stage 3 has a tricky finale, with a short but steep arrival of 200 meters and a slope of 17%.
The final day there’ll be again a stage for sprinters with the finish line under the Burj Khalifa, the highest skyscraper of the world.
