NIPPO VINI FANTINI: DAMIANO CUNEGO E COMPAGNI PRONTI PER IL TROFEO LAIGUEGLIA

Il 19 febbraio a Laigueglia la NIPPO Vini Fantini parteciperà all’omonima corsa. Debutto stagionale per De Negri, Ishibashi e Bisolti e debutto assoluto tra i PRO per Antonio Nibali e Iuri Filosi.

Giovedì 19 febbraio il team NIPPO Vini Fantini De Rosa prenderà parte alla 52ma edizione del Trofeo Laigueglia. Tanti i protagonisti attesi in corsa in questo inizio di stagione, con ben 20 formazioni al via. Saranno 5 le formazioni World Tour e 9 le Professional, tra queste gli #OrangeBlue capitanati da Damiano Cunego, su un percorso a lui più congeniale rispetto al debutto di Donoratico.

La corsa sarà l’occasione per assistere al debutto tra i PRO di Antonio Nibali, fratello del re del Tour, e di Iuri Filosi, il migliore degli italiani under 23 al Campionato del mondo di Ponterrada. Sarà anche debutto stagionale, nella sua regione, per il ligure Pierpaolo De Negri. Prima corsa del 2015 anche per, Manabu Ishibashi e Alessandro Bisolti.

“Mi aspetto un andamento della corsa diverso rispetto a Donoratico” ha dichiarato il direttore sportivo Stefano Giuliani, “anche se come in ogni gara anche qui correremo per essere protagonisti. Questi primi appuntamenti dell’anno sono utili per entrare nel ritmo gara e per cominciare a confrontarsi con avversari di assoluto livello.” Sull’esordio dei due NEO PRO ha poi dichiarato. “Si tratta di un debutto importante per entrambi, contro avversari di livello, in un Trofeo impegnativo come il Laigueglia. Non devono avere fretta di emergere, sanno quel che devono fare per la squadra.”

The 19th of February the NIPPO Vini Fantini will participate to the Laigueglia Trophy. Seasonal debut for De Negri, Ishibashi and Bisolti, official debut with the PRO for Antonio Nibali and Iuri Filosi.

Thursday 19 of February the NIPPO Vini Fantini De Rosa team will be part of the 52° edition of “Trofeo Laigueglia”. Many key riders and team are expected with 20 teams on the starting grid. Five World Tour teams and 9 Professional, among them the #OrangeBlue captain by Damiano Cunego, on a more suitable course for him compared to Donoratico.

The race will be the chance to see also the brother of the Tour the France leader, Antonio Nibali at his debut among PRO riders and Iuri Filosi, the best under23 italian riders to the World Champion of Ponterrada. I’m expecting a different kind of race compared with Donoratico” declared the sport director Stefano Giuliani, “as usual we will ride to be in the heart of the race. These first races of the year are very important to have a comparison with all the other teams and to keep up with the race rhythm”. On the two NEO PRO debut he also declared “It is a very important debut for them, against top level riders, in a difficult Trophy as the Laigueglia. They have to take it easy, they know what they have to do for the team, without any kind of pressure.”
