NIPPO VINI FANTINI: AMSTEL GOLD RACE, E’ UFFICIALE LA WILD CARD.
Il team NIPPO Vini Fantini riceve l’invito alla prestigiosa classica del nord. Il capitano Cunego “Felice di questa opportunità”. Mister Giuliani “Orgogliosi di questo invito”.
L’Amstel Gold Race si tinge di #OrangeBlue. Tra le due wild card “italiane” concesse dagli organizzatori una è destinata al team NIPPO Vini Fantini De Rosa, che al primo anno tra i Pro parteciperà alla classica del nord in programma il prossimo 19 aprile.
Damiano Cunego, capitano del team, è l’ultimo italiano ad averla vinta nel 2008. Un traguardo personale ma anche per tutto il ciclismo italiano, che attende una vittoria italiana in una grande classica proprio dall’ultimo passaggio a braccia alzate di Cunego sotto il traguardo dell’Amstel nel 2008.
“Sono felice per questa opportunità che si presenta per me e per il team a ridosso del mio picco di forma” racconta Damiano Cunego “Quest’anno parteciperò solamente a due delle grandi gare del nord in Belgio e Olanda, la Vuelta Limburg e appunto l’Amstel Gold Race. Mi presenterò al via per dare il meglio di me in una corsa che ho nel cuore ”.
“Siamo davvero orgogliosi di questo invito” – dichiara il direttore sportivo Stefano Giuliani – “riceverlo al primo anno tra i Pro ci dimostra che stiamo lavorando bene e ci fornisce ulteriori motivazioni per fare sempre meglio. Lavoreremo per onorare questo invito con grinta e combattività”.

NIPPO Vini Fantini team has received the wild card to the prestigious classic of the Nederland. The team captain Damiano Cunego “I’m happy for this great opportunity”. Mister Giuliani “Proud of this wild card”.
The Amstel Gold Race is now more #OrangeBlue. One of the two “Italian” wild cards granted from the organizers is for the NIPPO Vini Fantini De Rosa team, that at his first year among Pro teams will take part to the classic race of The Nederland, planned for the 19th of April.
Damiano Cunego, team leader, is the last italian rider that won the Amstel Gold Race in 2008. A personal goal, but also an important milestone for the italian cycling, that is still waiting for a new victory in a classic race since the one of Damiano in 2008.
“I’m really happy of this opportunity that arrives for me and the team very close to my supposed personal top condition of the year” revealed Damiano Cunego, “this year I will take part to two races of the north in Belgium and Nederland, the Vuelta Limburg and the Amstel Gold Race. I will approach this period at my best, because it is a race I have in my heart.”
