VUELTA A SAN JUAN: DEBUTTO SFORTUNATO PER LA WILIER SELLE ITALIA
Poteva iniziare decisamente meglio il 2017 della Wilier Triestina – Selle Italia che non ha avuto la buona sorte dalla sua parte nella 1^ tappa della Vuelta a San Juan.
Dopo essere stati protagonisti nella rincorsa alla fuga di giornata e dopo aver creato un treno compatto in testa al gruppo in funzione della volata di Manuel Belletti, all’ultimo km una deviazione non segnalata ha colto di sorpresa i nostri corridori che non sono riusciti a virare in tempo nella giusta direzione perdendo in quel preciso momento la chance di giocarsi il successo di tappa.
La vittoria di tappa è andata quindi al colombiano Fernando Gaviria ma già nella serata italiana di oggi ci sarà un’occasione di rivalsa.
VUELTA A SAN JUAN: UNLUCKY DEBUT
The 2017 season could start better for the team Wilier Triestina – Selle Italia that was absolutely unlucky in the 1st stage of Vuelta a San Juan.
After being part of the chase of the six men breakaway and after building a strong train for our leader Manuel Belletti,at the last km our riders followed the lead cars who went the wrong way and in that moment our chances to achieve the first win of the season expired.
The winner was the colombian Fernando Gaviria that will wear the leader’s jersey in today’s stage that will have another chance for the sprinters.
