Bono e Mori saranno i registi in gara.

In Australia there will take place the first event of World Tour: stages race Tour Down Under (20-25 January), that will be anticipated by the usual foretaste of the circuit People’s Choice Classic (18 January).
LAMPRE-MERIDA, that will leave Europe on 11th of January, will race Tour Down Under counting on 6 riders that were confirmed from the past season and one rider at his first appearance in blue-fuchsia-green jersey.
The Ethiopian cyclist Tsgabu Grmay in fact will race for the first time in his new team: he has trained during the past monthes in Africa, so he’ll be ready to face the high temperature that usually characterize the Tour Down Under.
The other team members will be the Croatian Kristijan Durasek and the Italian riders Niccolò Bonifazio, Matteo Bono, Davide Cimolai, Roberto Ferrai and Manuele Mori.
LAMPRE-MERIDA will be directed by Bruno Vicino, who’ll receive the support by the masseurs Redaelli and Negri, by the mechanics Mattia Romanò and Ralf Tiede and by the doctor Luca Pollastri.
The blue-fuchsia-green team aims to be competitive in the sprints thanks to the fast wheels trio Bonifazio-Cimolai-Ferrari (this last one was 2nd in the 4th stage of Tour Down Under 2013) and in the overall classification relying on Durasek. Grmay could be the outsider, Bono and Mori will be important thanks to their experience.
