BUONGIORNO DALLA 3^ TAPPA DEL 44° GIRO DELLA LUNIGIANA

Buongiorno dalla 3^ tappa del 44° Giro della Lunigiana, organizzato dal Casano SSD e in programma dal 29 agosto al 1 settembre. Oggi i corridori saranno impegnati nella frazione più lunga, la Casette – Casette di 113.5 km con partenza alle ore 13:30
TRAGUARDI VOLANTI E GPM
Due i traguardi volanti della frazione di oggi, entrambi posti a Massa in Piazza Liberazione al km 31.3 e al km 89.7. Due i GPM di 2^ categoria, ovvero le due ascese di La Foce al km 26.8 e al km 85.2, e due GPM di 1^ categoria, l’Evam al km 52.5 e l’ascesa che porterà i corridori fino al traguardo.
PERCORSO
La tappa di oggi rappresenta uno dei piatti forti del Giro della Lunigiana 2019 ed è stata resa ancora più dura rispetto alla scorsa edizione. Laddove si consumò lo splendido duello tra Remco Evenepoel e Karel Vacek nel 2018 ci si giocherà una grossa fetta di classifica generale con il doppio passaggio sulla Foce, già affrontata nella 1^ tappa, inframezzata dalla salita dell’Evam, 1.9 km all’11.5%, salita classica del Gp della Liberazione di Massa di aprile. Dopo aver affrontato per la seconda volta l’ascesa della Foce ci saranno 25 km da percorrere per arrivare all’imbocco dell’ultima ascesa di giornata che porterà i corridori fino al traguardo di Le Casette, 3.2 km all’8.1%.

GOOD MORNING FROM THE 3RD STAGE OF THE 44TH GIRO DELLA LUNIGIANA
Good morning from the 3rd stage of the 44th Giro della Lunigiana, organized by Casano SSD and scheduled from the 29th of august to the 1st of september. Today the riders will face the longest stage with start and finish in Casette for a total of 113.5 kms. The race will begin at 13:30
INTERMEDIATE SPRINTS AND KOM
Two intermediate sprints in today’s stage, both in the center of Massa at the km 31.3 and 89.7. Two KOM of 2nd category, the two ascensions to La Foce at km 26.8 and at km 85.2, and two KOM of 1st category, Evam at km 52.5 and the final climb to the finish line in Casette.
ROUTE
This could be the decisive day for the Giro della Lunigiana 2019. Casette is a classical uphill finish and it comes at the end of a very hard day of racing. Last year there was an amazing duel between Karel Vacek and Remco Evenepoel, this year we will see who’s gonna be the strongest rider as the stage will have two ascensions to la Foce, a climb faced already in the first stage, with the climb of Evam in between, 1.9 km with average slope of 11.5%, theatre of the Gp Liberazione di Massa of april. After the second climb to la Foce there are gonna be 25 kms to do before starting the last climb of the day that will bring the riders to the finish of Casette, 3.2 km at 8.1% .
