Soddisfazione anche per Davide Boscaro che, nel quartetto a squadre con Jonathan Milan, Francesco Lamon e Simone Consonni ottiene un bellissimo bronzo.
Una grande giornata quella odierna agli Europei di pista per il team MBH Colpack Ballan CSB che ha così festeggiato i suoi atleti.
“Sono medaglie meritatissime – commenta Rossella Dileo, General Operation Manager della formazione italo ungherese – visto che sappiamo bene quanti sacrifici fanno i nostri ragazzi per raggiungere questi risultati. Boscaro è con noi da tanti anni, mentre Bianchi è una new entry, tesserato dal questo 2024. La nostra squadra crede nella pista, a dare il via a questo filone sono stati proprio Ganna, Consonni e Lamon che oggi sono le colonne portanti della squadra nazionale”.
IL CHILOMETRO: Bianchi, trentino, ha trionfato in finale del km da fermo chiudendo la prova in 1.00.272, battendo l’olandese Daan Kool (1.00.414) e il francese Melvin Landernau.
“Sono stato il primo italiano a vincere l’oro in questa specialità. – racconta Bianchi – Una grande soddisfazione frutto di un enorme lavoro. Vincere in Olanda, patria della velocità, ha un sapore speciale. Ora puntiamo sulla team Sprint con i miei compagni di nazionale. Stiamo migliorando un secondo ogni anno e andare a Parigi non sarà facile”.
QUARTETTO: Davide Boscaro, Simone Consonni, Francesco Lamon e Jonathan Milan hanno conquistato il bronzo battendo la Germania nella finale per il bronzo.
Medaglia d’oro alla Gran Bretagna che ha battuto i danesi, dati per favoriti: 3’45’218 per i vincitori – quartetto composto da Bigham, Hayter, Tanfield e Vernon – con la Danimarca a 1”154.

APPELDOORN (NED): Matteo Bianchi clinches the first jersey of the year by securing the European Champion title in the kilometer race at the Apeldoorn velodrome in the Netherlands this evening.
There’s also satisfaction for Davide Boscaro, who, in the team quartet alongside Jonathan Milan, Francesco Lamon, and Simone Consonni, achieves a splendid bronze.
It’s been a fantastic day at the Track European Championships for the MBH Colpack Ballan CSB team, celebrating their athletes.
“These medals are well-deserved,” comments Rossella Dileo, General Operation Manager of the Italian-Hungarian team. “We know how much sacrifice our guys make to achieve these results. Boscaro has been with us for many years, while Bianchi is a new entry, registered since 2024. Our team believes in track cycling. Ganna, Consonni, and Lamon who initiated this trend and are now the backbone of the national team.”
THE KILOMETER: Bianchi triumphed in the kilometer final, finishing the race in 1:00.272, defeating the Dutch rider Daan Kool (1:00.414) and the Frenchman Melvin Landernau.
“I am the first Italian to win gold in this discipline. It’s a great satisfaction resulting from tremendous effort. Winning in the Netherlands, the homeland of speed, has a special flavor. Now, we focus on the Team Sprint with my national teammates. We are improving by a second every year, and going to Paris won’t be easy.”
QUARTET: Davide Boscaro, Simone Consonni, Francesco Lamon, and Jonathan Milan clinched the bronze by beating Germany in the bronze medal final.
Gold went to Great Britain, who defeated the Danish team, considered favorites. The winners, a quartet composed of Bigham, Hayter, Tanfield, and Vernon, (3:45.218), beating Denmark (at 1.154 seconds).
